Driftless TimberEdge Trail Blend: The Tough-Spot Perennial
The Driftless TimberEdge Trail Blend is a durable perennial mix engineered to thrive in the most challenging environments on your property. This robust combination of clovers and grasses quickly establishes dense cover and forage, making it the perfect solution for wooded trails, shady edges, or areas with poor, wet, or acidic soils where other blends fail.
The Hunter's Resilient Solution
Thrives in Adversity: Specifically formulated to persist in low-fertility, acidic, or wet soils and areas receiving minimal sunlight. This is the ideal mix to turn problematic areas into productive food and cover.
Quick Cover & Forage: The grass components, like Annual and Perennial Ryegrass, establish rapidly, stabilizing the ground and immediately producing cover, while the clovers ensure high-protein, long-term forage.
Ideal for Trails & Edges: Perfectly suited for planting along wooded trails and forest fringes, providing both excellent long-term perennial forage and an attractive travel corridor for deer.

The "Logging Trail" Method
Preparation: Use a rake, leaf blower, or drag to remove leaf litter and debris. Seed-to-soil contact is the #1 failure point in the woods. If the seed sits on dead leaves, it will die.
The "Tire-Track" Hack: After broadcasting, drive over the trail with an ATV or truck. The tires act as a cultipacker, pressing the seed into the soil without burying it.
Mowing: Once established, mowing this trail 1–2 times a summer will keep the clovers lush and prevent the ryegrass from getting too "rank" or stemmy.
